Clinical Practice Guide: Opioid Use Disorder (OUD): Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Peri-Operative/Peri-Procedural
Brief Description: The goals of the clinical practice guidelines are to
- Ensure continuation of medications for opioid use disorder (OUD) during perioperative/ peri-procedural period (e.g.Suboxone™, Subutex™, Zubsolv™, Bunavail™).
- Decrease the risk of relapse from OUDfor this patient population after surgery.
- This guideline does not address patients receiving Naltrexone(Vivitrol®), consult Acute Pain Service and Chronic Pain Service for assistance.
