Clinical Practice Guideline: Management of Cancer Related Fatigue

Brief Description:  
• The NCCN defines cancer related fatigue as a distressing, persistent, subjective sense of physical, emotional, and/or
cognitive tiredness or exhaustion related to cancer or cancer treatment that is not proportional to recent activity and
interferes with usual functioning.
• Fatigue is the fifth vital sign for all patients diagnosed with cancer.
• Comorbidities can increase fatigue associated with cancer and cancer treatment modalities.
• Complete a comprehensive evaluation for evidence of metastatic disease or progression
