Brief Description: Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is a life-threatening form of coronary heart disease (CHD) that develops as a result of the heart muscle failing to receive an adequate amount of oxygenated blood. This guideline presents a clinical algorithm for evaluation and management of patients presenting with symptoms of acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
