Mouse Model: Hat1tm1Mrpa/J

Brief Description: Hat1flox mutant mice possess loxP sites flanking exon 3 of the targeted gene. HAT1 is involved in the rapid acetylation of newly synthesized soluble cytoplasmic histones. Mice that are homozygous for this allele are viable and fertile. When these mutant mice are bred to mice that express Cre recombinase, resulting offspring will have exon 3 deleted in cre-expressing tissues.

Genetic Background

Allele Name: Targeted mutation 1

Allele Type: Targeted (Conditional ready (e.g. floxed), No functional change)

Gene Symbol: Hat1, histone aminotransferase 1

Site of Expression: N/A
