DENNISON (formerly HSl-3717 and OHS 301) is a 2006 release of The Ohio State University. Dennison is a unique conventional variety because of its combination of resistance genes (Rps1k andRps3a) and excellent partial resistance to Phytophthora root rot in a genetic background with high yield.This new variety resembles Kottman in appearance and is a replacement for Kottman and Resnik.This soybean variety is a 3.5 maturity, with black hilum, tan pods, light tawny pubescence and white flowers, with up to .3% purple flowers allowed.
